⚠️ E-SCOOTER, E-BIKE & MOTORIZED BIKE SAFETY REMINDER ⚠️
The City of Gibbon has recently received concerns regarding the operation of e-scooters, e-bikes, and motorized bikes within our community.
As these devices become more common, we want to remind riders and parents of the importance of operating them safely and respectfully. Our goal is to keep Gibbon's streets, sidewalks, parks, and public spaces safe for everyone.
Please remember:
🪖 Wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear.
🚸 Watch for vehicles, pedestrians, and other hazards.
🚦 Obey all traffic laws, signs, and signals.
🚶 Yield to pedestrians on sidewalks and crosswalks.
🌳 The City is asking riders to help keep e-scooters, e-bikes, and motorized bikes out of City parks, including Davis
Park, Rosen Park, athletic fields, trails, playgrounds, and other park facilities. This helps create a safer environment for families, children, and other park users.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to take a few minutes to discuss safe riding practices with their children and help ensure these devices are operated responsibly.
Thank you for helping keep Gibbon safe and making our community a great place to call home.
